"Honey don't you think it would be nice to have a bench right here instead of mismatched chairs?" I love my husband! He is so amazing. He's never done this before and we didn't have any plans for this bench but he figured out how to do it anyway! I love it!
Now all we need to do is paint the cupboards so they match the bench and then paint the walls!
I'm planning on adding a fitted cushion to the top but I like this so much I might just have to leave it like this for a little bit!

Yep, kudos to your husband for a job well done! Adding a window bench does not make the room look better, it also serves other purpose. You can use it to lie down, sit on, or as a surface to put your things on. How is the bench now? Were you able to add the cushion, just like how you planned it?
