House Decorating!

I have this really TALL wall in my front room and we just couldn't figure out what we wanted to go there...until one day we were walking through IKEA and I found this HUGE canvas print of a city. LOVED the idea but, you know me, I like it to be my own stuff so I started looking through picture after picture and decided I had to have 4 instead of just one. The next dilemma came when it was time to print the picture onto canvas...way expensive and it would have taken too much time. So armed with my Quasimodo digital editing skills I hacked up some pictures and one houred them at Costco...my BFF! Next I approached my cute husband and in my sweetest voice said "Baby do you think you could..."! With a little folding here and some staples there here is the final project! I love it! We have two of the Czech Republic, one of Toronto, and one of my happy place in Moab! All for under $40.00!

First Tooth

6 Days Before He Started 1st Grade...Elijah Lost His First Tooth!!!!

The Summit

Every August the Cancer Wellness House (http://www.cancer-wellness.org/) in Salt Lake does a fundraiser called Survivors at the Summit for cancer patients and their families! The event takes place at Snowbird and everyone is invited (for a minimal fee) to hike or take the tram up to the Summit (hidden peak) and then enjoy a speaker and treats. It is a great experience and amazing to see so many people affected by cancer come together for a great cause. They even do a pancake breakfast! And thank goodness that Grandma thought to bring jackets because it was only 39 degrees up top!

The Cancer Wellness House is an amazing organization that provides support for cancer patients and their families! They have support groups, free massages, special events and lots more! They are a great organization and well worth the support.

Josh decided to hike down the mountain this year!
