We decided to get B a swing for her bedroom and oh boy has that been a hit! I keep catching Elijah in there when she's not looking!

Bronwynn Turns 3!!!
You know how much we love to have parties! This one was way last minute and we were so grateful that 2 out of 3 of B's girlfriends could make it! Thank you Boston & Ava!
Bronwynn wanted to ride ponies for her birthday so Grandma Sally & Grandpa Scott stepped in and offered their grandparent pass to This is the Place Heritage Park!
I had to laugh a little because B's been talking about riding ponies for her birthday for a month now and when it came down to it she had a death grip on Grandma Sally's shoulder and only rode the ponies twice. Mostly the girls were excited to be together and play in small playhouse area! Thanks again for coming everyone!

4th of July Party
We celebrated the 4th of July with the cousins at Grandma Sally & Grandpa Scott's house! It was fun with water balloons, t-shirt making (thanks grandma!) great food, and lots of fireworks!
Concerning Little Girls
Bronwynn had one simple request as we looked at house after house after house for the one we wanted to buy. "I want a pink room!" Since the looking process took us a year I thought we would have gotten out of that request but it only morphed into a "pink and purple princess room". So before we moved in we were painting (Thank you Anna!) and decorating for the pink and purple princess room! My whole house is done in earth tones...until you get to B's room! I is is almost like walking down the Barbie isle in Toys R Us!
Since we were going with the princess theme we thought it would be cool to have a princess crown for her headboard. Josh cut the crown out of plywood we had leftover from dismanteling the bunkbeds. We then covered it in thick batting and wrapped pink fleece around it to make it soft and a silky floral print material to make it really girly! The last step was to take upholstery tacks and place them in the center of the flowers.
Next we covered their old wardrobe closet/dresser they had in their old room in purple paint and placed some clearance curtains (thanks mom!) over the top to give it a softer look!
Tada! Her room is done!
